Who are Waihī Beach Community Events & Promotions?
We are a passionate group of local volunteers and two part-time (paid) coordinators, who work to showcase and promote Waihī Beach through:
- Management of events – Christmas in the Village; Scavenger Hunt; Anzac Bay Summer Kick-Off Festival; Community Business Awards and many more – we also support new and ongoing events such as the Op Shop Ball
- Management of the Waihī Beach Info Centre
- Management of waihibeach.co.nz website and social media channels
- Printing and installation of map boards, walking and cycling flyers
- Coordination of bi-monthly business TIDE meetings
- Publish quarterly magazine, It’s About Time
- Promotion of Waihī Beach information in the media.
