Raffle Three – Win a Weekend Getaway at Beach Road Bach, Waihī Beach, plus Full-Day Guided Fly Fishing Trip with Billy Thrupp for two.

Prize Drawn: 10am 3rd August 2023 at the Flatwhite, 21 Shaw Road, Waihī Beach

Ticket Price: $30 each

1^st Prize:

Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions will book and coordinate the entire weekend for you.

• Two nights’ accommodation for two people staying at Beach Road Bach Waihī Beach on your chosen weekend.
• Full-day guided fly fishing trip with Billy Thrupp , 2023 NZ National Fly Fishing Champion, for two people. Includes lunch.
• Friday Night: Dinner for two at the Waihī Beach RSA – To the value of $150
• Saturday Night: Dinner for two at the Flatwhite – To the value of $150
• Saturday or Sunday Morning (Depending on your fishing charter schedule) – Breakfast for two at the Surf Shack Eatery – To the value of $100

Total prize package is valued at $3000.

Prize Terms and Conditions:

• Accommodation – Is for two people and includes Friday and Saturday night. Subject to availability with Beach Road Bach.
• Dining – You will receive a credit at each of the above listed eateries which must be redeemed on your schedule weekend. Any costs additional to the above credit limits will need to be paid for by yourself. Bookings at each of the above eateries will need to be made prior to your arrival. Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions will coordinate your bookings for you.
• Fishing charter with Billy Thrupp – Subject to availability (at a time suitable for yourself and Billy) and favourable weather conditions. The location and duration of the guided fishing trip is dependent on the fishing conditions and weather, Billy Thrupp will advise exact details prior to your fishing trip.
• In the event that the guided fishing tour is forced to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather, or road and trail closures) beyond our control, a postponement date will be provided.
• A cancelled trip by you prior to commencement must be received two weeks prior to your scheduled weekend to receive a postponement date. If the trip is cancelled within two weeks of the commencement date of the scheduled weekend, the prize is unfortunately forfeited.
• You must be 18 or over to purchase a raffle ticket.
• All profits from the sale of raffle tickets will be donated to Billy Trupp and will be used to contribute towards the cost of his trip to The World Fly Fishing Championships in Slovakia.
• Prize valid for 12 months and must be redeemed by 3 August 2024.
• No refunds on the sale of raffle tickets.
• Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or another item.
• The winner (and travel companion) are responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included above, including transport to and from Waihī Beach and any other transport (other than return transport to the full-day fishing trip awarded as part of the prize).
• Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by entrants or anyone else as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with the Promotion or its prizes.
• Where a winner is selected by a voting mechanism: Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions decision on voting arrangements and validity of votes will be final.
• Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions will not be liable for failure to provide (or delay in providing) the Prize resulting from any events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of god (natural disasters), acts of war or terrorism, national emergencies, issues of public health and safety, mechanical breakdown, industry disputes, riots or failure of communication or power supply or voluntary or involuntary compliance with any regulation, law or order of any government.
• Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions will not be liable if they can’t contact the winner of the raffle by using the contact details that the prize winner supplied when purchasing the raffle.
