From the top carpark you can walk 2 minutes up to the site of Te Ho pa site for spectacular views over the Waihi Beach area.

From the same carpark a track also leads to the trig station at the top-most point of the headland. 20mins return.

Or take a steep path down to Cave Bay, a popular fishing spot overlooking the Bowentown entrance. 45 minutes return.
