BEACH WHEELCHAIRS:
Waihi Beach is proud to offer two beach wheelchairs FREE of charge to the public for use on our beaches. These chairs were kindly donated by a beach resident and local real estate agent LJ Hooker.

- Book a date and time (2 hour usage) you wish to use the wheelchair. You’ll be asked to provide name and address details over the phone; and show your drivers licence upon pick up.
- Collect the wheelchair from and return to, Tasman Holiday Park, 15 Beach Road, Waihi Beach.
- If you are a school or organisation who wishes to use the wheelchairs for a day long or special event, this is encouraged! Call the above number to arrange a special booking.

A huge thanks to Tasman Holiday park for organising the booking of the chairs, to LJ Hooker for purchasing the chairs and to the Surf Lifesaving Club who supports this initiative in making Waihi Beach more inclusive for all.
