Paws on the Shores - Rookie Pooch Photo Competition 2023

Competition Terms & Conditions

Entries are accepted between 7pm 21^st February 2023 and 12 noon 2^nd of March 2023.
One entry per person. Multiple entries per family are allowed.
Amateur photographers only please – we want everyone to have a fair go!
Entry instructions:
- Take an image of your dog at a spot in Waihī Beach that is special to you or your dog. For example, it could be at the beach, your house or the park etc.
- Email in the photo, accompanied by 100 words or less about your dog (including their name) and why the spot they were photographed at is special. Please also include your name and phone number (these details will only be used if we need to contact you regarding your entry in this competition or if we need more information about your dog).
- Please ensure the image is good quality/high resolution.
- Email the photo and words to: vicki@waihibeachinfo.co.nz with the subject Paws on the Shores Photo Comp.
By entering this competition – you agree for Waihī Beach Events & Promotions to use your photo and words in printed, digital or social media channels.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Judging will be based around the originality and overall appeal of the photo.
The winners will be awarded gift baskets and rosettes. The top 3 placed dog pictures will also be featured in the local, It’s About Time magazine – Autumn 2023 Issue.
