Waihi Beach Community Event & Promotions Photography Competition 2012 - POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

‘GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT’

Competition postponed until further notice

 

Four exciting photography categories and a video clip section to enter with great prizes

Reflect and represent Waihi Beach under the following categories:

  • It’s about the people
  • It’s about the scenery
  • It’s about the experience
  • It’s about ‘our place’

Best video clip representing one or more of the above themes - these should be between 15 and 30 seconds long, be shot in full 1080 HD and should persons be involved then the appropriate model release forms should be included.

Images and video clips will be judged on creativity, how successfully they illustrate Waihi Beach Promotions key themes, and technical & aesthetic quality. All images are judged anonymously on their merits, without consideration of the photographer or videographer by a NZIPP and AIPA registered judge.

Prizes include:

  • 1st Overall photography winner ‘The Money Shot’ $500
  • People Choice winner - Waihi Beach Hamper of prizes
  • Prizes in each category of $250 cash first prize, $100 worth of vouchers second prize and $50 worth of vouchers for third
